Shannon Nadeau, a radiant smile on her face, leaned against a wall in her new home, arms wrapped around her 10-year-old daughter, Ashley.

Her two other children, Brian, 12, and Monica, 20, stood next to Nadeau, equally happy, during the Jan. 16 dedication of their four-bedroom, two-bathroom 1,300-square-foot house.
