With Habitat for Humanity, you have the opportunity to build in your community!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Habitat for Humanity Mid-Yellowstone Valley has installed a Little Free Library in the Founders Parks Neighborhood. With the idea to promote reading, Habitat decided to give back by getting a special book for each child who lives on Ping Circle. The books will be placed in the library on Christmas Eve so the children can wake up to a surprise on Christmas morning! The concept is to take a book and share a book, helping promote reading, access to books, and building community.
The Library was handcrafted by one of our core volunteers, Mark Dickhaut. With the help of Mark, Habitat for Humanity Mid-Yellowstone Valley is proud to provide a Little Free Library for the community. There are approximately 38 Little Free Libraries throughout Billings with over 100,000 in the world.
The Little Free Library is located in the new Founders Park Subdivision located one block off of Wicks Lane on Hawthorne, the address is 1203 S. Ping Circle.
