Every foundation has a story—and for House 97, that story began in December 2024 when the first concrete was poured. Soon, those beginnings will grow into a dream realized: Sarah Pretty Paint and her kids will move into their very own home this September, a milestone filled with hope, stability, and new beginnings.

The build site for House 97 has been a gathering place for compassion and teamwork. Our regular build crew, those steady hands and big hearts who show up week after week, laid the groundwork—literally and figuratively—for Sarah’s family’s future. Alongside them, new faces and groups brought fresh energy and enthusiasm. In just a few weeks, Sarah and her kids will be unpacking boxes, hanging up photos, and making memories in a home they can finally call their own. September won’t just mark the end of a build—it will mark the beginning of a brighter future.
